Viet Straw - an eco-friendly brand from Vietnam
In Vietnam, about 2500 tons of plastic waste is discharged into the environment everyday, of which plastic straws are the second most common type of waste (the most is plastic bag). After using, plastic straws are discharged directly into the environment, and will be there for hundreds of years, drifting from place to place...To make change, we wanted to become the supplier of the "perfect" straws. For us,the "perfect" straws must have the following elements: biodegradable completely in a short time, disposable, and made of natural ingredients and raw materials locally. The answer came quickly and turned out to be very simple: it was rice!

Local Natural Materials
Our Rice Straws are primarily crafted from rice flour, sourced from the bountiful Mekong Delta, Vietnam's largest rice-producing region. To ensure the straws' resilience, we incorporate tapioca starch into our formula. Moreover, we imbue our straws with a hint of color using natural pigments derived from local vegetables.

Safe to eat
